With over 350km of slopes, you can see how St Moritz has attracted the attention of the likes of Alfred Hitchcock and Ian Fleming. It has some of the highest Swiss mountains for skiing, glaciers and opens a breathtaking panorama. And once you feel hungry you can stop at El Paradiso restaurant for some hot chocolate and fondue with your friends.
Skiing isn’t the only thing St Moritz is famous for, it is the first place to ever host a curling match in Europe, first European figure skating championship, first horse race on snow and many others. Actually snow horse racing is still a popular attraction and it takes place on the frozen lake of St Moritz with a great view from Badrutt’s Palace Hotel.
